One of my friend who is in Germany owns a sex toy.Is it legal for him to carry his product to India and would there be any customs issues??

A.Since the import/sale of sex toys is banned in India as per IPC section 292 and is a prohibited item, the import of the same by you is in contravention of the law and hence it will be liable for absolute confiscation alongwith penalty.

A.Dear Client,
import of any restricted/Prohibited items are liable for penal action under section 111 (d) of Customs Act. 1962 customs may issue show cause notice against such import.

A.Customs is Serious in this Issue and It is not legal in India but if you want personal pleasure there are stores exclusively for this in metro cities.

I like to say these issues are avoidable because serious issues comes because foreigners are highly watched by the Customs, Intellectual Beura, Taxation personals.
