My father is govt employee recruited as group b engineer in state service but he is promoted to group A at the age of 51 and has salary below 8 lac in past 3 years. Whereas my mother is homemaker, am I entitled to non creamy layer in central and state govt (Karnataka)?

Yes you can apply and get such certificate by just showing income of your father which is bellow Rs 8lakhs .

A.Dear Client,

As per Records it show that persons working below the Rank of A grade is eligible for OBC NCL.

They tell strickly that only Grade B, C, D employees can come under OBC NCL list.
Consult an Educational Lawyer (rare - Juniviline Lawyer) in this Regard near by your area.

A.In Other Backward Category Non creamy layer: Whose parent's income is less than 6 lakhs per annum. Non creamy layer candidates can get reservation benefits.

You can get your Non creamy layer certificate from block or Tehsil in your district or online as per your regions procedure.
