Labor law on asked to leave post maternity leaves

I would like to know if the company asks me to leave on the last day of maternity leave and says there is no work for you going forward. What are my rights. I had stock option and variable pay .. should they pay me in full for both

A.Hi,
Your employer cannot dismiss you while you are on your maternity leave and if you are dismissed post your maternity leave then also you are entitled to all your variable pay including the maternity benefit/bonus.
