Not getting money from my friend.

i have helped my friend 4 lakhs amount on Dec'2017. till now i have revived 50,000 only. afetr i gave the amount he absconded without notice.
i gave him the amount through online transfer.
he is giving worst replies during my conversations with him, he is only communicating via Email.
i have contacted his family, they are not responding.
what should i do ...?

As per your inputs it seems your friend have malicious intention to escape from your legal liability to return your amounts, so issue him a legal notice to his address and even to his mail id
then initiate legal actions against him

You can send a notice to your friend for recovery of the due amount and give him a week's time to return your money. If he does not return the money you can file a suit against him in the court and ask for an arrest fearing he might abscond.
