Leave deduction
Hello Sir, i work in a Private company. Because of covid situation, the director of company announced that no leaves will be accrued for 4 months. Also he deducted 15 days of leave balance from each employee resulting in negative leave balance for some employees. Sir, i wanted to check if it is within the powers of the company to deduct leave balance in such an adhoc way on the pretext of covid19. Does sending out an email to all employees about this decision to deduct leave balance amount to making up a new policy because of covid 19? Is this legal?
