There is a drug peddler living in my building. Everyday he along with his bunch of friends smoke ganja/weed, do drugs and even drink alcohol in the neighborhood openly. Their family knows about this but they don't bother about it at all. People have complained about this to the police but no action has been taken yet. When the police comes these guys run away and come back when the police goes. I have even given a video evidence to the police but still no action. People are afraid to confront these guys because they fear for their lives. Please tell me what needs to be done in this situation as we are feeling helpless. Thank you.
You may approach higher police officers or approach media and ask them to viral the issue without disclosing your identity.

File a complaint against them to the nearest police station

File a complaint in the police and if then don't take a serious action, then go to the NCB and file a complaint for the same.
It is advisable to contact and inform the police on a regular basis regarding the happenings in the building so that the police can take effective action for the same. Again file a complaint to the police, however, if there is no response then go to the narcotics bureau and file a complaint it.
