Employment Bond Employment Bond

I am actually having troubles with an employment bond I signed with my previous company. On the day of my resignation, I paid them liquidity damages through a dated cheque and in return got my experience certificate and relieving letter. After 7 months of leaving the HR calls me and requests the bond money.

They admitted it was the finance team fault and that they forgot to credit into the company account. I politely told her I cannot arrange such a huge sum now. Kindly stop troubling me. I also asked them why was this not communicated much earlier. They asked me to talk with the accounts team and they would give me the number but I never heard from them.

Now after 5 months, they are dropping an email requesting the same. What should I do in this case?

A.Hi,
As per the facts stated by you,
A complaint letter can sent to your previous company stating your grievance and requesting them to resolve the dispute as soon as possible.

A.Hi,
Initially, An application stating your grievance can be send to management department of your previous company. As, no one can extract money from someone else because of his/her own fault.
