Procedure for disowning of my son
My son has been misbehaving for quite some time now. He is 20 years old and refuses to move out of my house. He uses threatening body language.

A.for threat, you can even lodge police compliant also.
If you have ancestor property then his rights can not be disowned.
For your property and future issues, you can put a newspaper publication for the same.
Hope this clarifies,

A.Hi,
Even if the parents evict a child from their house, there is no legal concept of disowning an adult child in India.
In order to disown your son from your property it is necessary to publish notice in any morning newspaper which has circulation of more than 1 lac copies. However you can only disown him from property earned by your own and not the ancestral property.
