Family issue

It is a question of my aunt and uncle.. My uncle has taken jewelery to mortgage from my aunt and also the money saved by her ... And told her that he will return ...But now after 5 years nothing has been returned but he keeps saying that he will return ..My aunt does not know what to do..She doesn't know from where he will return or no return.. Can she take any written paper from her husband or what she can do???? Please help!!!

More information is required regarding the fact whether they are married or not, and whether any written agreement was made regarding the money and Jewellery earlier.

A.uncle and aunt are husband and wife only.
they are married for how many years ?
what your aunt want to do if your uncle dont return money ?
However she can take written paper for her streedhan.
