Written apology letter in police station
Dear sir
In January 2019 I went delhi for upsc coaching
On July 10 2019 evening at 8:40PM I was walking in college campus and I was urinating at road side under tree and I didn't recognise that one girl walking behind me she suddenly grabbed me started shouting and scolding at me I don't know what to say I'm simply standing and later she called her father who is a police officer of that area and they took me to the police station ..later I explained the situation and said sorry ...later police officer told me to write my name and address.. I wrote my name and my pg address in delhi
After I called my friends they came and we requested to leave me by saying sorry
After 30min the police took apology letter and freed us
But I'm always fearing that I have written my name In police station... this may affect my career
The questions arising from my mind are
Did I arrested....?
Is FIR Registered on me..?
Did I convicted..?
If so I'm not eligible for government job I can't get into upsc ..I'm ineligible I lost my life
These kind of thoughts are torturing me everyday... please help me sir
I written only apology letter
Did this affect my career

you were not arrested.
no effect on eligibility for govt job or upsc.
you should not repeat this.
Hope this clarifies,

The police did not arrest you and neither were you convicted. They made you write an apology letter just as a means to give you a lesson not to repeat your actions in future.
As per your input it seems that no case has been filed. They might have got an apology letter just as a means of fear and threat not to repeat this in future.
