My husband is going in a live in relationship with other women and not giving us maintenance, I have a 15 year old child

A.Hi,
Although adultery as a crime has been decriminalized by the Supreme Court, it is still a very valid ground for divorce. If you want to claim maintenance, you shall have to file for divorce and seek it during the proceedings. You can increase the amount of maintenance claimed if you have verifiable proof of his adultery.

A.You can file maintenance petition for that. And further can file divorce on ground of desertion.

A.Adultry is not a crime anymore but it is ground for divorce.
Many women are now coming with same situation after SC decision.
15yr old child will get maintenance till 18.
If you get evidence then you can get good alimony/maintenance.
If your 15 yr old child give evidence in your favour then also can get good alimony/maintenance.
