A.Hi,
in order to protect yourself, you need to prove before the court that you are not guilty.
alternatively, you can file a complaint and a case against her. by doing so, she will to prove that she is right and will have to present evidences or at the end can agree for mutual conciliation and resolve the matter by taking the case back.
your counter measures have to be strong and legally valid, in this regard we require more information to ease your problem.
feel free to contact us via vidhikarya.
Regards.

A.hi,
you need to prove your innocence in-front of the court.
you can even file an FIR against the false case and later a case on her. since this is the only solution, she will have to prove that she is innocent in this case.
let us know you we may help you more.
Regards.

A.case in what sections.
498A case or DV case or both.
if 498A case with other sections then you have to take anticipatory bail.
if you have evidence that it is false case then you can go for quashing.
after that you can file case on her for false case.

Hope this clarifies,
Advocate Ankur Goel (Complete Law Shield)
