My Neighbor installed a CCTV Camera with mic on the top of their main gate. The purpose to hear my voice and whats happening in my house and the cameras are pointing in such a way that it covers street and my main gate. The reason of installing mic at their entrance so that they can listen and record conversation happening at my home. Both houses shares a common wall

A.Hi,
If the CCTV is set up in such a way as to specifically monitor your house, the you may file for an injunction citing violation of privacy. However, if it is intended for his home's security purposes, then he has a right to do so.

A.if your house door is closed then how the mic will capture conversation at your home ?
the camera should not be able to capture inside of your house violating privacy.
until and unless it violates privacy then it can be installed.
Hope this clarifies,
