Non-payment of salary and NDA violation Non-payment of salary and NDA violation

Hi, I have one month salary due and it has been around 85 days since my last working day. I had sent an email to ask when this will be credited two days ago. Today I received a call stating that I had violated the NDA terms asking for further information (via mail).

Last month, I along with 2 other of current employees had met with few of our clients regarding an idea to start up on our own but to offer a service that is not provided by my ex employer. And that discussion also died down immediately since my employer came to know of it and intervened asking the two current employees to stop. Since I had quit over two months ago, I was not contacted. But now this email is asking information. Should I provide them with details regarding our meeting with the clients? If so would explaining the intent to not compete nor solicit the clients matter? (we had no defined offering apart from a PPT doc and no registered company or anything).

A.first of all your contract/offer letter words have to be scanned.
you should understand why your company called and then asking mail from you.
if services would be different and still not any company then doesnt seem you violated NDA.

Hope this clarifies,

A.Hi,
Please go through the terms you signed with the previous employer. Generally, NDA terms prohibits the employee from accepting similar job at a recognized rival company or be associated with the previous clients. Since no work or company has been started from your end the previous employer is liable to clear your dues. You can send them a legal notice regarding the same.
