GST REVERSAL FEES & SERVISES REVERSED BY HDFC CREDIT CARD

HDFC BANK HAS REFUSED TO REVERSE THE GST AMOUNT OF SUCH FEES & SERVICES WHICH WAS WRONGLY CHARGED BY BANK. BANK HAS CREDITED THE FEES & SERVICES BUT GST AMOUNT CHARGED ON SUCH SERVICES HAS NOT BEEN CREDITED. I HAVE SENT MAIL TO HDFC BANK IN THIS REGARD BUT BANK REFUSES TO CREDIT THE GST AMOUNT GIVE REFERENCE OF FINANCE BILL. BUT FINANCE BILL OR GST ACT NEVER SAYS THAT BANK CAN CHARGE GST ON REVERSED FEES & SERVICES. I HAVE ALSO TOLD BANK THAT I AM NOT REGISTERED UNDER GST ACT AND HAS NOT AVAILED ANY INPUT TAX CREDIT. NEED ADVICE ON THIS MATTER.

A.Hi,
Since you have the bank for the problem arose, you may now file a Complain to banking ombudsman within whose jurisdiction the branch or office of the bank is located.
