Reduced vacancies Arbitarily Reduced vacancies Arbitarily

Goodafternoon Sir ??

Sir,
In year 2018 on 24-05-2018 a notification for direct recruitment of Sub-engineers with 497 vacancies was issued by TSNPDCL

Exam was conducted in the month of july 2018 and results were released in the ending of august 2018

Students in 497 merit received a departmental call from the TSNPDCL for the certificate verification in the month of september 2018.

And in mean while call letters were sent through indian post to all 497 merit candidates.

But i did not received any call letter, on enquiring TSNPDCL said that vacancies have been reduced from 497 to 427.

The reason for reduction in vacancies was simply that the in-service employees were promoted or given conversions as sub-engineers.

Due to this we filed a writ petetion in highcourt stating that our appointment was denied by TSNPDCL by arbitarily exercising there powers in highcourt of telangana.

But the department in reply to our writ saying that there is note in the notification saying that"vacancies are subject to variation at the time of recruitment"

But it doesn't mean that it can use this note arbitarily to exercise there power overnight. And in reply counter TSNPDCL is also saying that unions in the department forced the management for the conversion or promotions as subengineer of in-service employees, due to this posts were reduced.

TSNPDCL decided to fill only 427 posts, simultaneously merit list was changed 3 to 4 times and due to this some merit student even received call letters, but as they stand in between range of 427 and 497 their appointments were denied , due to this stay for the recruitment process was asked in highcourt but for the 70 people standing in between range of 427 and 497 whole other 427 people cannot be made to wait and stay was denied and 427 people were appointed.

And now we are the remaining 70 members were made to face injustice regarding our recruitment.

Random person in reamaining 70 posts were received call letters and some people did not received call letters but even though we all 70 members are interlinked due to roster rule.

Our case in highcourt of telangana is still in pending.

Kindly and humbly suggest us some supreme citations or any other judgements which will help us to win our case.

Anik

A.Hi,
Considering there are so many other parties who have also suffered injustice, you could file a Public Interest Litigation in addition to the writ petition.

A.Hi,
The TSNPDCL must have a reason for reducing the number of available positions, but you can file a Public Interest Litigation as there are many additional parties to the suit.
