LEGAL STANDING ON CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT IN SERVICE INDUSTRY LEGAL STANDING ON CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT IN SERVICE INDUSTRY

Hi,
I run a small private limited company in Mumbai, which is into logistics (service) industry, and planning to hire someone who is well experienced (he has his own logistics firm too) & handover the branch for him to run, while I will be positioned in a difference city/state, monitoring daily activities online.
I plan to hire on a contactual basis, with all terms & rights clearly specified & mutually agreed, to avoid any conflict later, since we are into same biz field.
My questions is, if such a contract is prepared on a company letter head, does hold legal standing, in case if anything goes wrong tomorrow.
Whether such contract requires to be vetted by any legal firm or contract to be prepared on stamp paper to make it more secure?
Please advise.

A.Hi,
For a safer side, it is always advisable that agreements needed to printed upon the stamp papers and not the company's letter head.
