Employment property return
My employer is asking me to return the computer to the office I've resigned, this was told to me by my TL and HR. I want to return it but they are asking me to bring it by any means through my expenses. I want them to come and take it. They told me once I bring the computer then further resignation process will be done that day.
A.Hi,
You have a duty to return office equipment, you can be prosecuted for theft if you fail to do so.

A.Hai,
The ownership of the computer belongs to the office, as it is a property possessed by the employer. So it's better to take it back to the office and complete the resignation process. This is the way involving least amount of litigation and effort.
