False allegations spread by Lady

Dear Sir /Madam,
As My wife fighting legally with her younger sister for her rights on mother & fathers fix and moveable asset as her younger sister is nominee everywhere. But her younger sister who is of 26years spreading allegations in society about me that My sister's husband forcing her to take her rights (share) in property, her husband have lost the job and now he don't have money so he forcing my sister to fight with me legally for money & property.. Like this she is spreading about me society and taking advantages of she is lady. So please guide me how can I stop her legally by taking any police action or how, please help me out.

A.Send her a Legal Notice to stop the same. Your wife as an legal heir having equal share can demand it if there is no any will or instrument in contradiction.

A.Hi,
You can sue her for defamation under Sections 499 and 500 of the Indian Penal Code. Serve her with legal notice to stop spreading rumours and proceed with the suit if she ignores this notice.

A.Your wife can apply for Letter of administration /Succession certificate for getting rights in the movable and immovable assets of the parents (in case if there is no Will executed by them in favour of anybody). Your wife will have to write letter to bank/society informing them about her rights in the assets of her parents and intention to apply to court for succession certificate. As far as defaming part is concerned, your wife can send legal notice to her sister to stop defaming you and your wife failing which legal action (police complaint for defamation) can be taken.
