I joined a company on 15th February 2021. The role was of a counsellor cum faculty in a institute. My contract has the following salient points:
Probation period of 3 months, I would jave ti give 60 days notice to leave within this period
Company will provide me training worth 2.5 lakhs and there is a locking period of 12 months with the company
I can leave in the event that my husband ia transferred abroad
There is no CL/PL. As I wanted to work only 5 days a week, so My one of weekly off will be counted as 48 holidays.
Also, I will have to pay the company 2.5 lakhs in case I decide to leave before the 12 months.
The company has provided me 2 daus of training and is now questioning my performance (sales). I have been at the branch for 6 working daus in total. I am considering leaving as they have created undue pressure and stress. I have also not given a signed copy of the contract that I signed. Can the company compel me for the 2.5 lakh clause? And can I leave without serving the 2 months notice?

A.Hi,
From the facts of the case, it is clear that there was a clause in the contract which clearly has mentioned about the notice period. You have an obligation to follow the terms and conditions of the contract and not violate it unless the law says you to do so. If you found this helpful, please rate us.

A.Hi,
If your contract has clearly mentioned the notice period, you are bound to follow it, unless it is permitted by the clauses of the contract to do so. If you found this helpful, please rate us.
