I am married for 25 years having 3 kids. But having constant torture and harrasment mentally from husbanud. So now want to get divorce and get settlement amount from husband and attachement on properties . this is for my self purpose and for kids future purpose. I am a housewife so i have nothing as money with me

want to know a few things :
what are papers i should be having with me like property papers, bank stmts?
What are proofs court will ask?
Kids are also from my side so they can speak in court ; one daugther is married and two kids education going on.

A.Hi,
File for divorce on the grounds of cruelty under section 498A IPC. You can file a petition for interim maintenance under Section 125 CrPC to support yourself until the final award is decreed. We can help represent your case. Take whatever proof you have of his abuse to use as evidence in Court. Your children can serve as witnesses and testify on your behalf.

A.Hi,
File for divorce on the grounds of cruelty and domestic violence under section 498A IPC. Until the final settlement has been determined, you can file for interim maintenance under Section 125 CrPC, this will allow you to support yourself over the course of the proceedings. The proof will depend on the circumstances. Yes, your children can testify as witnesses on your behalf.
