It is mentioned that "If both mother and father of the applicant are in government service, their pay scale should not be more than Rs 5,500 to Rs 9,000." applicant can apply for OBC NCL certificate in Rajasthan. Can you please provide the circular number or the source of this information?

A.Hi,
The parents' annual income must not be less than Rs 8 lakh. Circulars have been uploaded on the Rajasthan Government's website stating all the guidelines for the issuance of the caste certificate. Thank You

In order to qualify as an OBC non-creamy layer candidate, the applicant’s parents’ annual income should be less than Rs. 8 lakhs.

Salary and agricultural income are not to be considered as income for calculating annual income for creamy layer status. As far as the Government employees are considered, the entry cadre/post is to be taken into consideration. You can visit the Rajasthan government's website where the guidelines regarding the issuance of a caste certificate have been clearly provided.
