Change of lawyer

I filed habeas corpus petition in High court. But I found my lawyer is not showing that much interest while arguing, is there any chance to replace him by myself. Since, the petition gives lot of scope to discuss about interstate arrests, matrimonial dispute, police power misuse and all. Hence I thought it will surely attracts high court.

Yes, you will have to state your intentions and obtain an No Objection Certificate from him before engaging the services of another advocate.
