Landlord -tenant Landlord -tenant

My landlord doesn't want to renew my pharmacy agreement since he is hoping to get an extra advance sum of money and increase in rent if he is able give the shop to a new tenant. He is giving me psychological pressure to leave the shop and cancel the agreement. We have been renting this shop since it was first opened in 2004, therefore we are the first tenant. Now he wants us to cancel the agreement so that he can rent this shop to someone else with more rent and advance amount. Hoping to seek advice from you.

A.Hi,
The owner cannot be forced to renew the lease agreement. He has the right to lend the property to some other tenant if he feels so. But if the agreement is still valid then a police complaint can be filed against the landlord for harassing you. Thank You

A.Hi,
If your agreement has already ended then the owner of the property has all the rights to lend the property to someone else. The owner cannot be compelled to keep just one tenant if doesn't want to. He has rights over his property and hence he can lease out the property to anybody. Thank You
