Do I need to register as a sole proprietorship company?

I am currently working in an MNC. I want to start my Marketing Consulting agency which does not compete with the MNC which is an IT company. Can I do this? And do I need to register my company if I accept monthly payments from clients through stripe?
A.Yes, u have to register as a sole proprietorship company to start Marketing Consulting agency. Yes, if it must to register for business. & we can do it easily by simple documentation.

A.you have to raise invoices.
some clients will pay only to a company account.
you want to start company with job or after resigning ?
after resigning no prob
with job then company can take action as per offer letter.
