Can i work for my ex companies client? Can i work for my ex companies client?

I am resigning from my current company . And my current client in this company wanted to hire me. But companh says that they have policy that i cant work for thier client within 1 year after my regnation.. my company is in india and my client company is from south africa.. i dont remember the exact details of policy. Is there any way i can work for the client. ( I didnt resign becouse of my client)

A.Hi,
As it has already been stated in the policies for which you had agreed, you need to comply with it, otherwise, they might take legal action against you and you might have to pay compensation for the same.
OR
You can take permission from your current company and continue.

A.Hi,
Since there's already a policy and you had agreed to it before joining the company, you need to comply with you otherwise they might take legal action against you.
It is advisable that if you want to resign from the current company, you can work at some other company which is not in competition with the previous one and holds no other relationship with the same.
You can take permission from your previous company if you still want to work in the client's company.

A.Take consent from the earlier company. Else wait for the time of restriction to pass.
