I want to marry my father's sister's daughter legally in West Bengal? We are from a Bengali family (Hindu) WEST BENGAL. We both love each other and she is 21 and i am 26. we are in a relationship. And we decided that we gonna adopt a baby. Not inbreading because of child defect.

A.Such marriage are barred and are illegal being in spinda relation.

A.According to hindu family act,marriage between first cousin is illegal.you can not marriage with your fathers sister daughter directly.but other ways are available.you may discuss about that.

A.Hi,
No you cannot marry her, as your relationship with her falls under the prohibited degree of relationship under the Hindu Marriage Act, and you're marriage with her would be considered as null and void.

A.Hi,
As per the Hindu Marriage Act, your marriage would fall under the prohibited degree of relationship, and you're marriage with her would be null and void.
