A.It seems that you are a victim of online cyber fraud.
1) Which was the website and does the company have their own website ?
2) Who recommended you for this online work?
3) Where do you stay?
4) Do you have any contact details of which person you spoke to you for the contract work ?
5) Did you sign any type of Contract or Agreement with the company?
6) Most of these types of companies are fraud? They will just keep demanding money & reject your work.
7) As now they have sent you the legal notice or may send through email there is a high chance that they may file a case against you. It will be always better if you send a legal notice by a Lawyer to the company for their false claim and mental harassment for you.
8) Also make sure that you are recording all the phone Calls which they have been calling you for money?
9) If possible we can help you to file a complaint to cyber crime office in your area if they are sending you continuous messages & emails for the payments.

A.Donot worry. As in such cases no fraud is made out. There is nexus of scammer and cheater where advocates of like nature are also involved. Report the matter to police.

A.Hi,
First and foremost this is a scam to defraud you of your money. They are trying into blackmailing you into paying them money. Such agreements are not enforceable in a court of law, therefore rest be assured they wont institute a court case against you. They are coercing into paying the money, so just ignore and block thier calls and do not pay a single rupee to them. If they continue to harass and blackmail you, you can choose to file a police complaint against them, and/or you can send them legal notice for blackmailing and threatening you and claim compensation..

A.Hi,
This is a blatant case of fraud, cheating and blackmailing against you. There are several such companies which run such scams. You do not have to pay a single rupee to them. Just ignore the calls and block them. If they persistently harass you for the repayment, file a police compliant against them for harassment and fraud. You can also send them a legal notice claiming compensation for trying into blackmailing and defrauding you. Rest assured such agreement are not legally valid and enforceable in a court of law.
