Hello, I wanted to know whether cryptocurrency mining, buying or selling is illegal in India or not. If yes, then how many cryptocurrency wallets are operating and offering services?

A.Dear Sir,
According to the bill to be introduce it will criminalize the trading, mining, issuing, transferring, or possessing cryptocurrency. Moreover it is also possible that the bill will give six months to liquidate them after which penalty will be levied.

A.Dear Sir,
The country's legislature will introduce a bill that criminalizes trading, mining, issuing, transferring, or possessing cryptocurrency. And the bill will give six months to liquidate after which penalty will be levied.

A.Those operating are under a supreme court order finding recluse which will end soon as a bill is already in the pipeline to declare the crypto illegal in India but good thing is everyone will get an exit window.
