Is muslim men can marry second wife without first wife permission in india(Karnataka)?

A.मुस्लिम शरीयत के अनुसार पति को दुसरी शादी करने के लिये पहली पत्नी की अनुमति की कोई आवश्यकता नहीं है।शरीयत के अनुसार एक मुस्लिम 4 पत्नि रख सकता है।

Traditional Sunni and Shia Islamic marital jurisprudence allows Muslim men to be married to multiple women up to four at any point in time. So, in India also Muslim men can marry without permission of first wife.

A.Hi,
A Muslim man may get married more than once without divorcing his earlier wife but the same does not apply to a Muslim lady. Muslims are governed by Shariat law so they have right to do so.
