Troubled marriage - Bullying
My marriage ran into a rough weather and going through difficult situation for a long time now. I haven't initiated legal proceedings for seperation as it affects my children (2 girls) and there is no one to offer financial support to my wife too.
There is no sexual relationship between us for last 6 years and I am into a relationship outside marriage too. My wife knows about the extra marital relationship and bullies me and the lady I am in touch with. How can I stop this bullying?
A.Dear Sir,
If you want to stop such bullying then you will be in trouble.

A.Adultery is not a crime anymore so ask her to shutup or take divorce.
how you can stop this bullying permanently is by getting divorce and remarry.
Thats the only solution.
you can get custody of both girls.
but you have to give maintenance to first wife.

A.Hi,
Since you were into an adulterous relationship outside the marriage, this a valid ground for divorce, and your wife can seek divorce for this. So, in order to save the future of your children and to resolve the dispute, you will have settle the dispute amicably with your wife.

A.Hi,
Your concern about your daughters is genuine and legitimate. You should try to resolve the matter with your wife amicably. If you married a 2nd wife, outside your first marriage, that marriage is void. You wife can seek divorce on this ground, and if you were in a adulterous relationship, that is also a valid ground for divorce. Only way to settle this issue is to resolve the dispute amicably.

A.what are your intentions?
if you want to terminate the matrimonial knot, then, try to settle the matter amicably with your wife involving elders/relatives/friends etc and go for #Mutual Consent Divorce which will be decided in 6-18 months, and you both will be free to live life with your wish,
don't forget to draft a# memorandum of understanding before approaching #Mutual Divorce, which is the most essential and important part of a #Divorce case to avoid/reduce future #legal complications,
some basic points to keep in mind and put in writing through an #MOU before filing the petition for #mutual consent divorce are #custody of kids, #distribution of assets (movable/immovable), quash/withdraw of #pending litigation if any, #Maintenance (present/future), #Alimony, mode and time of making the payment, streedhan, future litigation, etc.
keeping in view the two minor children, think lakhs times before opting for the divorce
