A.Hi,
In order to get the property registered in your name, you will have to obtain a Legal Heir Certificate from the district court or tehsildar's office. Only after this certificate is issued, you will be able to register the property in your name.

A.Hi,
You will need to obtain the legal heir certificate from the concerned authoirty (i.e. court of proper jurisdiction, Tehsildar's office, etc.) and then you will have to register the property in your name. Through this, you line of succession to property would be established and evidenced.
