I have taken a loan from a online loan app. I have paid full amount but due to covid i lost my job and was unable to pay last ₹1100. They started calling and messaging all the contacts in my contact list. What to do? Its harrasment

A.Hey,
This behaviour is not justified by bank and you can file report with police against it. Also you file complaint under bank OMBUDSMAN scheme. Please first try to settle the matter amicably by explaining your situation so that your credit score is not effected.

A.Hi,
Such ways of recovery of money is illegal and amounts to harassments. You can approach the police and file a complaint against them. Further, such apps are unlicensed and not have the mandatory regulatory permits, hence you can complain with the RBI and strict actions would be taken against such apps.

A.This harassment which is not permitted licence n law so report the matter to police and lodge complaint. Such on line app are illegal and RBI has also taken stern action against them.
