Women's property rights

My mother's father having 13acres land his own name and another 16 acres land registered on his sons names when his purchased that time direct registered to his sons names. Now my mother age 45 years. I have doubt about land equalization process, in the process of land dividing by total land or my mother's father name land only.
And how can we proceed to legally.

A.Hi,
Your mother only has a claim to the property that is in her father's name, and only if he dies intestate Because the property is self-acquired property , he can bequeath it to anyone.

Since the property is the self-acquired property of your maternal grandfather he can give it to either of his children Therefore, your mother only has right on the property that is in her father’s name that too if he dies intestate.
