How many festival holidays to be declared as per labour laws?

How many festival holidays have to be given to employee in Haryana including 26 Jan, 15 Aug and 2nd Oct Legally as per the Act and Law?
A.Dear Sir,
It all depends upon each State Government resolutions. Sometimes such holidays may be increased or decreased. Even such holidays declared by the Government initially may be cancelled later on.

A.Hi,
The Punjab industrial establishments(National & Festival holidays and casual and sick leave) Act,1965, provides five festival holidays every year besides the said holidays. It also provides for seven casual leaves and seven sick leaves in a calendar year.

The Punjab industrial establishments(National & Festival holidays and casual and sick leave) Act,1965, provides for paid holidays three national holidays, 26th January for Republic Day, 15th August for Independence Day, and 2nd October for Gandhi Jayanti besides five festival holidays every year. It also provides for seven casual leaves and seven sick leaves in a calendar year. The employer has to maintain records of the workers in this regard as per the formats provided in the rules.

A.You will find regarding holidays on the public website of Haryana Govt. as a circular. It will be not possible to put the entire list here and I don't think here even any circular link is allowed to be pasted. Hence please search the information regarding holidays on Govt of Haryana official website or the labour ministry website of Haryana State. Usually this list of holidays circular comes in the beginning of the calendar year. Somewhat you can also refer to holidays list of High Court of Punjab & Haryana (you will find on their website) or and nationalised bank which I believe should be following the same holidays almost.
