Company asking not to mark attendance during pandemic, can they do it? Company asking not to mark attendance during pandemic, can they do it?

I was sick with covid in the month of April. So I didnt work for April, May and June, but marked the attendance on the company portal. I recieved salary for all these months with salary slips. Now they mailed me not to mark attendance for july and saying they will adjust april, may and june salary when I start working again. Can they do that? Should I mark july's attendance? Can they take any legal action against me? I have marked the attendance on the portal, is anything wrong in that?

A.Dear Sir,
You can mark the attendance and keep that email instruction with you. You are supposed to follow the instructions and you are marking the attendance through online and not physically so no problem will arise for you.

A.What they are asking you to do is wrong and illegal and that can land you and them in problem if anything goes wrong and you are advised not to do that way. If the company is forcing you to do this this you have to speak to your supervisor and tell him that its illegal.
