how /where can I ask for verification of identity of a person who claims to be an Indian army officer(met him online)?
doubt arised when one of his claimed friend said he is not so .
so I am confused whether his friend is lying or the person himself .
I want to get this clearly with something i can trust with like officially verified.
(this person lives far off and i have no personal connections available there that i could get it verified personally)

A.Dear Sir,
You may ask his ID card and also office number and his full details so that you can write a letter to his boss and cross check the same. If he is not the officer then an FIR will be lodged by concerned Military office.
