Unwilling marriage Unwilling marriage

My girlfriend got engaged unwillingly to someone else, because of her parents threat to commit suicide if she doesn't. now she is suppose to get married in coming month. She is afraid to elope with me. she fears of her parents filing any complaint or may perhaps commit suicide because of their daughter marrying her boyfriend and not to the "chosen guy" by their choice. (we both are 25+)

A.Dear Sir,
Since because you have crossed marriageable age as such you can get marry anywhere. Better approach the police and narrate your story and get sympathy and then they may extend sympathy and protect you both.

A.Law to major girls and boy ko ye right deta hai ki vah apni marji se marriage kar sakte hai.
Agar aap ki premika aap ke sath nhi jana chahti hai tab aap uske sath jabardasti nhi kar sakte hai.
Agar vah bhi aap ke sath jaane ke liye ready hai tab aap dono high court protection ke liye jaa sakte hai.
But in sab ke atirikt bhi bahut kuch hai society me. Agar aap ki premika apne guardian ki marji se marriage kar rahi hai vah thik kar rahi hai. Kyon ki guardian ka bhi or aap ka bhi kuch duty hai ek dusre ke parti.
But law aap ko permission deta hai. But permission se pahle apne guardians ko bhi dekho.

A.Hi,
Once you attain the marriageable age, the parents cannot choose or decide the life partner. It is the choice of the girl to whom she wants to marry. She can approach the police and take protection and help from them against the threat from her parents.

A.Hi,
Since you both are of marriageable age, therefore the parents cannot force the girl to marry to anyone of their choice. The threat to commit suicide amounts to blackmailing, you can take assistance of the police and sort out the issue.
