Home Construction and land acquisition by govt.
I owned an open plot in Visakhapatnam in an approved layout by Regional Deputy Director, Town Planning, Visakhapatnam. My plot is in S-E corner and local government laid road close to my site boundary (1 feet gap only). As I purchased the land, I don't want to leave it for the canal provided by govt. & now my question is what is the possibility of demolishing my future construction which will come up on my site provided if road widening happens
My neighbor constructed a boundary wall around his plot but his boundary wall constructed after encroaching the govt. road for construction that's why road constructed close to my site
A.Hi,
It is uncertain whether the widening of road would happen in future or not. However, if there is any project of widening of road, then your property would be acquired and demolished as per the project requirements, but you would be adequately compensated in case your property is acquired for the project work.

A.Hi,
If there is any future project relating to expansion of road, then the govt. can acquire your share of land for the project and demolish it. It is highly probable that your land would acquired by the govt. in future either wholly or partly depending upon the project.
