Forgery and cheating by Son
I stay separately from my son (25 years old) and wife (45 years old). I stay separately with my wife and son in Pune, while they stay in Delhi for last 7 years/ I dont have cordial relationship with my wife, but loved my son, and paid for his graduation and all expenses, as well as deposited over 15 lakhs (which is now over 25 lakhs) in PPF account when he was a minor. Subsequently, in 2019, my son asked me to buy him a car, I bought a car in my name and he was using this in Delhi. in 2020 (during Covid) he suddenly told me that he had sold my car due to business emergency and that I will get credit in my account from new buyer, and that I should give him that money as loan, which he will return in few months. I told him that I had given car for his use and how/why he sold the car by forging my signature and without my permission? He told me that it was an urgent business problem...anyway, since he is my son, I did not press the issue as he was crying, and transferred money to his bank acccount (proof available) Now in June 2021, I started facing money issues, and asked him to transfer the borrowed money as well as PPF . At first he was delaying, and now he has refused, saying that I did not take care of him, and that I dont deserve my money. Hs is now extremely rich....he has taken lot of money in the past...all seems a ploy by him and my wife to cheat me of my money. Please guide what I can do to punish my son/wife as well as recover my money. I have retuired 3 years back and was relying on this money for sustenance.
You can claim the money you have paid for the son. You can file a police complaint under 464 IPC. According to 465 IPC, Whoever commits forgery shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.

You can file a police complaint under 464 IPC. You can also claim the amount you have spent at your son's request and also claim compensation for the losses you had in pursuance of it.
