Case by my mother on my wife

My mother has filed a case against my wife & police say if she says there is no issues case would close. But my mother disagrees. I don't want any action on my wife. Plz help - From Sanpada Navi Mumbai.
A.Hi,
You can file a petition in the High Court for FIR quashing. An FIR can be quashed by the High Court if the Court is satisfied that the accused is falsely implicated and FIR is bogus and frivolous. Section 482 enumerates that a High Court has got the power to act in any manner in order to make the two ends of justice meet.

A.Hi,
If the said case is a fabricated one you can move legally against her. You have to investigate her intention for doing such an act and a person can approach the High Court for getting the false FIR quashed by filing an application under Sec 482 of Crpc.

A.Very vague query. What is nature of case? Whether FIR was registered? What is the complaint? Without detail it is not possible to advise. Try to convince your mother and pursue her removing her misunderstandings and misconceptions. If the charges are compoundable then get the case compounded.

A.It is necessary to know what is the subject matter of the case . Until and unless the complaint petition be studied,effective remedies cannot be suggested. If your mother is senior citizen and if any sort of mental and physical cruelty had been exercised upon her by your wife, then that will be treated as a severe offence.
