I was accused in rape case around 5 years ago and then I was in jail for around 1 month. I was acquitted by the magistrate after releasing a judicial copy. My nick name was mentioned in that case. Now I have changed my location and my documents are updated with different addresses. Not I am getting job in railway on compensation ground. Should I mention this previous case during employment or should I leave it. will I be eligible for this job or not ? I can get my Character certificate easily from local police thana. as enquiry will not go my previous native home address.

A.See when you try to hide the information while applying for a government job and later if someone discovers that then you will be simply terminated for hiding the information. In case you have been acquitted by the court then this criminal case against you does not bar you from getting a job.
