Photo used commercially without my consent

Dear Sir,
Recently, I came to know that one website of huge publication house, is using my photo for their product, without my consent or any agreement or not even intimation. They are selling the product keeping me as face of the product as product attached to me. My this photo was given for one article only. I wasnt ask to use this photo or not even intimated.
I was really annoyed to find this website. what should i do ? Your advice will be much appreciated. Thanks. Shweta from India.
A.Hi,
As you have not given consent for the publication of your photo, the very first thing you can do is to contact the publishing house and ask them to take it down. If they do not listen to you, then you can file a case against them for infringing your right to privacy.

A.You can sue the website owner for infringement of your right to privacy which is a fundamental right and you can also invoke sections under Information Technology Act in respect of the same. Thank you.
