Iam currently working in a consultancy firm from 7/09/2021. I got an offer from MNC . I informed my current company HR about this and told I want to resign. In the offer letter it was mentioned that if the candidate leaves the company they have to pay training cost to the extent of 15000rs and serve notice period of 15days . But my company is demanding me to 15000 and extra money instead of serving notice period. They are saying that they don't want to invest time on me anymore so that are threating and forcing me to pay more money and relive immediately. But iam ready to serve the notice period. Is company doing right ? Am I supposed to pay extra money other than traning cost ?

A.Hi,
As the offer letter informed explicitly that you have to pay training cost to the extent of Rs. 15,000 and serve a notice period of 15 days, you will only be entitled to follow that. The company is not doing right by making you pay an extra amount and not letting you serve the notice period. You do not have to pay any extra money other than the training costs.
Thank you.
