A.Dear Sir,
If it is comes within the definition of “Matrimonial House” then she can stay in that house without even permission of the grandparents and if need arise she may file domestic violence case and take restraint order.

A.Hi,
If it is a self-acquired property of your grandparents, then she can not stay there legally without their permission. However, it if is an ancestral property, she can claim her interest and there are rights given for her to stay.
Thank you.

A.It is necessary to know whether that property remains unpartitioned for last four generations through male lineage , i.e., ancestral or not. If it is ancestral, then the sister being a coparcener has the right to stay therein.

A.If the house is ownership wise self acquired property of your grandparents than your sister and her family doesn't have right to reside there without permission of your grandparents but if it is an ancestral property of her maternal family than your sister has right to stay there with her family and will not need anyone's permission and no one can legally evict her. Thank you.
