Are the daughters eligible for an equal share

A person in Haryana has children - sons and daughters. He inherited some land from his father which itself is ancestral agricultural land in Haryana. He willed the land only for his sons and daughters did not know it until late. Is the will valid? Are the daughters eligible for an equal share?
