About OBC 2A category in Karnataka

As a domicile of Karnataka working in private software firm having salary more than 8lakhs and family income less than 8lakhs. Can I eligible to get OBC 2A category for my daughter to appear for medical counseling in KEA.

The government while calculating the income for the certificate shall consider the salary of the parents. If your income is from agricultural sources then those incomes shall be omitted while calculating your income. Moreover, individual salary from the private sector is also excluded from such calculation.
