Regarding acceptance of resignation from government service Regarding acceptance of resignation from government service

I had sent one month notice for resignation from the post of PGT Mathematics (Rest of Haryana Cadre) to competent authority (DSE Panchkula) and others on date 06/10/2021 through email. I had also sent hard copy of this notice by registered post on same date (06/10/2021).

This notice had also been forwarded to Director Secondary Education through proper channel.

3 months have been passed since the notice was given. But Department has not yet issued acceptance letter of my resignation which is a violation of rules and regulations. As per rule, department should have issued acceptance letter of my resignation immediately after the expiry of one month notice. But Department has not yet issued acceptance letter of my resignation while given one month notice period has already elapsed. As per rule, an employee cannot be forced into job without his will.

Whether acceptance letter of resignation is required after the expiry of notice period?

Whether resignation is effective immediately after the expiry of notice period or resignation is effective only after issuance of acceptance letter by competent authority?

When you are working for a government organization then you need to have proper exit and handover which means they will not only accept your resignation but also issue a final letter of termination stating that your full and final settlement will be done etc. Unless you receive a letter for the same you are to be considered as on the job.
