How to recover the amount given to neighbour on loan?

Sir, an amount of Rs 500000/- transfer to my neighbor on may 2018 through online net banking, he has been said that i will return u still Jan 2021, and one night he shifted by theft crap to somewhere and mobile also put in switched off and my mobile number in block list. so pl advice me that what i will do further to get back my amount.

Send a legal notice to the neighbour through a lawyer followed by filing a civil case or money suit in the local civil court. Once the case is filed in the civil court then he will be required to fight the case and at last he will be required to pay your amount.
