Is it legal for the recovery agents to message on my contact list regarding my missed emi payment of 1 month
A.Dear Sir,
No it is not legal you can get issue a legal notice to the bank to cancel the agreement of such recovery agent and approach the Banking Ombudsman.

If you are being harassed/tortured by the collection agents of the bank you can make use of the following remedies:
1. File a complaint against the Bank and the recovery office. If the police do not file a complaint, the magistrate can be approached.
2. A civil injunction suit with an ad-interim relief can be filed in the civil court against the bank and recovery organization.
3. You have an option to contact the organization and file a legal complaint.
4. If they invade your house , you can file a trespass complaint.
5. If they forcefully ask for money, case for extortion can be filed
6. You can complaint to the bank or the banking ombudsman.
